Lineup and Details for Bekuz x InFlux w/ Dixon Avenue Basement Jams & Elliot Adamson

Dixon Avenue Basement Jams

Dixon Avenue Basement Jams was launched in late 2012 by label heads Dan Monox and The Wasp after gaining reputable respect as DJs in their own right. Since then the Glasgow based label has established itself as one of the most exciting and influential to emerge from the house and techno scene. DABJ have honoured a quality over quantity approach with each of the releases on the label, working with show stopping underground talent like Marquis Hawkes, Vernon, Denis Sulta, Big Miz, Jared Wilson and TX Connect.

Both Monox and The Wasp are expert selectors and technical DJs, having had long standing connections with Rubadub and the surrounding Glasgow nightclubs. Their mixes have found incredible acclaim on Rinse FM, Boiler Room, XLR8R, Juno Plus whilst being able to hold down an array of the best clubs across the rest of the UK, Europe and even the Middle East.

The hardworking pair like to keep things simple when it comes to their appeal. For them, their rugged and honest approach to music and DJ-ing can be expressed by their ethos and desires to bring “real rockin’ raw shit from the streets for the clubs”.

Elliot Adamson

Elliot Adamson is creating a buzz as the current most exciting fresh talent in electronic music, with an inherent knack for phenomenally original records and catchy edits that spread like wildfire. The prolific producer, with continuous support from heavyweights such as Denis Sulta and Patrick Topping, continues his winning streak with the prospect of headlining fabric Room 2 and a hefty release schedule including a twelve-track summer release on Man Power’s Me Me Me imprint.

2018 also brings a move to Field Artists booking agency, where Elliot sits alongside Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Big Miz and Chaos in the CBD.

His relationship with Man Power and Me Me Me has been long and fruitful, the label being home to his ‘Je Suis’ EP, a remix, and a track on the charity compilation for Help Refugees. His forthcoming twelve-tracker, ‘Self [Entitled]’, features eight original cuts, alongside remixes from Spencer Parker, Pale Blue, newcomer Ben Caldwell, and in typical Elliot Adamson style, he even remixes himself.

Elliot has always blazed his own trail. Growing up, he was a prominent part of the legendary illegal rave scene in Newcastle, thrashing out his own style of techno to ecstatic ravers in freezing fields and warehouses.

He still goes his own way while constantly hunting for new music and upcoming artists. From working on a track for days in the studio, to creating one literally during a live back to back set with another artist, Elliot isn’t held back by social norms or ‘shoulds’ – resulting in a diverse range of successful releases on labels including Edible and DJ Haus’ Unknown to the Unknown.

Unofficial edits that have gone viral with hundreds of thousands of plays include his edit of Dizzee Rascal’s ‘Strings Hoe’, The Streets ‘Weak Become Heroes’ and most recently his ‘EAcapella’ edit of Mall Grab ‘Feel Good House’ which has been championed by BBC Radio 1.
